Be sure and join us on Sunday, October 31st for our annual Trunk or Treat! We will have games, candy, and a newly renovated playground with some new pieces to play on, along with snacks and other activities. Contact the church office for more details.
Once again this year we will be feeding the students and staff of the Carter High School Marching Band during Band Camp. At this time, we do not have an exact date for Band Camp, as Knox County has not yet given the Band Directors the guidelines of what to expect as we move through the phased reopening process from the CoVid-19 pandemic. As soon as we can get a date nailed down we will announce it here, on the Facebook page, and it will be announced in church.
We are working on plans for VBS 2020, and a ride on the Rocky Ridge Railway. Plans for this year’s event are very much a work in progress at this point, as we are working through the restrictions related to the virus shutdown and what will be allowed by Holston Conference. More details will be announced soon.
The 4th Saturday of each month we distribute food baskets to anyone in need. Due to the CoVid-19 pandemic, we are utilizing a drive-thru system. All you need to do is drive up to the church, and we will put the food basket in your car. Please call the church office at 865-933-5041 for more information.
