Join us for a Week of Missions at Trentville UMC. We will have games, blow-ups, music, and presentations each night from mission & ministries based here in East Tennessee, but reaching around the world. There will be missionaries from Africa and the US/Mexcio border area, plus we will hear from Mike Parker, Executive Director for Clubhouse Guatemala Ministries, as well as Chris Hall, the COO of Remote Area Medical. Should be a great week of fun and learning about how we can make an impact both here in East Tennessee and around the world!
Once again this year we will be feeding the students and staff of the Carter High School Marching Band on the last night of Band Camp. We will be serving sandwiches, chips, and fresh fruit to approximately 60 people. We will meet on Wednesday night (july 24th) at the church to assemble the sandwiches and get everything ready. After the meal on Thursday evening we can join the band and band parents at the football field for a sneak peak performance of this year's halftime show. For more details, please contact the church office at 865.933.5041.
Join us for hamburgers, hotdogs, and all the fixings as we get together for Family Game Night! There will be Rook and other card games, video games, and board games for everyone to be a part of! The fun starts with dinner at 6:30 pm! Also, we will be joined by the Boy Scout troop that meets at the church each Thursday evening.
We will be providing Thanksgiving Baskets to families in need in our community once again this year. This year we are working with some area vendors to purchase the items needed for the baskets. If you would like to donate toward the baskets, the approximate cost per basket will be $25. If there is a need, please contact the church office at 865-933-5041 and leave a message to be added to the list. The cutoff date to sign up for a basket is November 10th.
Join us the week of July 16 thru July 20 as we celebrate and honor the community service personnel in our community. We will have a different group each night representing the Knox County Sheriff's Department K-9 unit, EMS, Rural Metro, Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, UT-Lifestar, and the National Forest Service. We will close the Week of Mission & Service with a Cookout and Celebration time. There will be inflatables, an obstacle course, and trampoline basketball, so join us as we get an up-close look at what the emergency providers and law enforcement teams in our area work with every day.
